Manufacturing Process
From Design File to Finished Circuit
All manufacturing performed in-house at Carson, CA — complete control over quality and lead time.
01 — DFM Review & Quote
Gerber file processing, design rule check, manufacturability review. Firm quote with committed lead time.
02 — Artwork Generation
Precision phototool creation. Critical to dimensional accuracy and fine-line capability down to .0015″.
03 — Base Material Prep
KAPTON polyimide with copper foil — rolled annealed (RA) for dynamic flex, electrodeposited for fine features.
04 — Photo Etching
UV exposure and chemical etching removes unwanted copper leaving precisely defined conductor patterns.
05 — Drilling & Plating
Mechanical and laser drilling for PTH and microvias. Copper plating, surface finish applied to spec.
06 — Coverlayer & Finish
Polyimide coverlayer or photoimageable covercoat. Selective PI removal for cantilevered/windowed leads.
07 — Singulation
Steel rule die or laser cutting to final dimensions with tight dimensional tolerance.
08 — Assembly
In-house SMT and through-hole assembly. Standard or RoHS. Component sourcing for full turnkey.
09 — Inspect, Test & Ship
100% electrical test. AOI and visual inspection. Certificate of Conformance on every shipment.
